Development

You will develop through working alongside stimulating colleagues and tackling projects that will stretch you and make you think. We have a practice-wide review programme based on open, honest feedback. We provide coaching and mentoring to enhance skills, knowledge and self-awareness. We have an active CPD programme throughout the year and a number of internal and external training courses that will help inspire and develop your potential.

We have been Investors in People accredited since 2005.  Comments from our Investors in People assessor include:

"People value the expertise of their colleagues, especially students during their placements and people from smaller organisations"

"The directors and other top managers have established a friendly and helpful management style - managers throughout the organisation are described as 'very approachable"

"People feel valued for their efforts and achievements, and especially so by the professional responsibility placed on them"

Sustainabilty and Our Enviroment

We’re integrating environmental initiatives into all our activities. These range from simple things like turning off unnecessary lights and using recycled paper for most printing to our IMS accreditation and investment in our green CPD programme.

What’s more, we encourage our employees to avoid driving to and from work through a variety of incentives and plans that promote environmentally friendly alternatives such as public transport, car sharing and cycling.

Our responsibility for both our environment and our people is evident in our award-winning Cardiff Office.

Design Ethos

Our design ethos reflects our bespoke approach to each client and every project - in fact we pride ourselves in not having an in-house design style. Instead, we endeavour to extract the maximum design potential from every brief and to deliver contextually responsive, carefully considered and environmentally responsible designs, every time. Each designer in the practice is encouraged and supported to make their design output the best it can possibly be.

Our design ethos is reflected in the range of design services we offer, our attention to detail, and our willingness to indentify and respond to both the explicit and implicit needs of our clients. We have an enviable reputation for truly collaborative working with building users, design professionals and construction teams. We see the absence of overbearing egos as a prerequisite for successful projects.

We use the latest BIM software Revit®, allowing us to work in a more collaborative and integrated way with the design team and right at the forefront of efficiently turning creative ideas into tangible reality.
