Stride Treglown Architects Celebrate World Class Status

Stride Treglown Architects has started the year on a high by receiving its first ever inclusion in Building Design magazine’s World Architecture Survey.

Announced in BD’s annual World Architecture 100 supplement, Stride Treglown has been placed at number 76 alongside some of the largest, most successful architectural practices in the World.

The listings, compiled by research agency Camargue on behalf of BD, are based on results supplied by companies throughout the year and represent the definitive survey in the field.

With significant projects in 2010 including the company’s new BREEAM Outstanding Cardiff office, Treglown Court; extensive work on the University of the West of England and the University of Liverpool; ongoing projects in the Defence sector and success in the UAE as a result of the company’s new Abu Dhabi office, Stride Treglown has enjoyed a busy and varied year despite the tough climate.

Bob Whittington, Chairman of Stride Treglown, said; “Myself, the Board and the team are all delighted to receive this prestigious ranking. To go straight in at 76 after such a challenging year is no mean feat and I’m immensely proud of our continued success in an increasingly competitive market. All of our staff, both in the UK and Abu Dhabi have put in heroic efforts to maintain our quality of service against ever tighter fees and managed to keep smiling through most of it. A big thank you is owed to them and to our loyal clients who have kept the phone ringing with some interesting prospective jobs. Here’s to 2011!”
