Sponsoring 2011 Abercrombie Property Awards

Stride Treglown is delighted to be sponsoring this year’s Plymouth Herald Abercrombie Property Awards.  The awards which also form part of the Herald Business Awards 2011, will be given out at an black-tie event at Boringdon Park, Plympton, on April 14.

The Abercrombie Awards were named after Sir Patrick Abercrombie, the architect and town planner who replanned war-damaged Plymouth in the 1940s, are traditionally held every three years.  Previous winners include the £36m Roland Levinsky Building, at the University of Plymouth, the Gun Wharf housing scheme in Devonport, and the Armada Way Piazza. This year's awards include categories for best new building, best building conversion/restoration, best public space, best sustainable development and best community design project.
