Steve Maslin, Stride Treglown’s Access & Inclusion Consultant Contributes To Drafting Of BS 8536:2010

New British Standard – Code of Practice BS 8536:2010

Steve Maslin, Stride Treglown's dedicated Access & Inclusion Consultant, recently contributed to the drafting of a British Standard (BS 8536:2010) Facility management briefing – Code of practice via the Facility Management Advisory Committe.

This Standard is intended to complement and strengthen existing briefing practices and procedures. In particular, the requirements of inclusive design and of managing design in construction have been written to anticipate implications for managing facilities and environments both effectively and inclusively when they become operational.
