Stride Treglown In Top 20 In National League Tables

Clifton based architectural practice, Stride Treglown, the largest in the South West, has retained its position in the top 20 in the national architects league table produced annually by Building magazine. In addition, it has also climbed 4 places in the top consultants league table which ranks all companies in the construction consultancy sector.

Having being placed earlier in the year in the Fast Track 50, the South West's fastest growing companies league table at number 48, Stride Treglown continued this success by being placed at number 24 in the Building league table of top 50 fastest growing companies.

Stride Treglown employs over 270 people. In the past year, pre tax profits more than doubled to nearly £1m on a turnover of‚ £11m, supporting the expansion of its geographic coverage with the opening of an office in Manchester.

Awards

Stride Treglown has had an incredible year of recognition. It has been awarded the Building for Life Gold Standard for Great Bow Yard, a waterside development of twelve low energy homes in Langport, Somerset. It has also won an international housing design competition entitled Tomorrow's Garden City; A Sustainable Approach To Modern Living. Stride Treglown's design for a prototype housing module beat 70 other entries and construction is due to start next year.
