Stride Treglown Chapman Robinson has appointed Gordon Tero as a divisional director in their Manchester office. Gordon will eventually take over from Gill Robinson who is planning to retire at the end of this year. This leading national architectural practice has offices around the country with its northern base in Commercial Street in the heart of Manchester.
Gordon, 40, joins from Building Design Partnership where he had been for ten years, having originally trained in Australia. Projects so far in his career have included the new Manchester Marks and Spencer store, the Spinningfields commercial quarter in Manchester, University Hospitals of Leicester PFI and the Central Spine redevelopment in Manchester.
Stride Treglown Chapman Robinson has an extensive track record in urban regeneration, conservation and master planning. Gordon plans to increase the range of sectors that the Manchester office currently works in through a combination of his personal experience and strengthening the links with the Stride Treglown network of offices.
"It's exciting to be joining a company with a strong national network, I'm looking forward to being able to work with my colleagues in each region. Experience is so important in this industry and it is invaluable to have a team of people to tap into and work with as a strategic and creative resource." Comments Gordon Tero.
Stride Treglown chairman Kevin Steer added, "It's more good news for our Manchester office. We feel our clients will really benefit from Gordon's industry and regional experience, as well as the national presence that we offer. We welcome Gordon to the practice and look forward to working with him".
