Planning Permission Granted for £11m Residential Development, Portishead Marina

North Somerset Council has granted planning permission for an‚ £11 million, mixed use development in Portishead Marina, East Quay. The scheme by Stride Treglown for Persimmon Homes Severn Valley aims to maximise the potential of the brownfield site and to meet the demand for residential accommodation in this location.

The development consists of two u-shaped blocks that enclose the central courtyard with a timber frame external walkway.

Caroline Pitt, Project Architect, Stride Treglown comments 'We have taken care to ensure the design responds to the character of the existing public open spaces in the Dockside Public Realm, Chandlery Square, and the central axis. It will be a feature development along the dockside.'
