Stride Treglown is proud to be part of the 'Trust Partnering Team' that was presented with the national 'Integration & Collaborative Working Award' at the Constructing Excellence in the Built Environment National Awards on 13th November, held at Lords Cricket Ground Pavilion, London.
This national accolade follows the team winning the Constructing Excellence South West 'Integration & Collaborative Working Award' in April 2008, where they and their client VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) were also short listed for three other awards. The 'Trust Partnering Team' is made up of design consultants, the main contractor and key sub-contractors who have worked collaboratively with VOSA to deliver a rolling programme of replacement and refurbishment to selected heavy goods vehicle test stations across the UK. Through collaboration and integrated working the 'Trust Partnering Team' have been able to deliver continued improvements in quality, cost and time on site, as well as improved environmental suitability, through the programme of works. The recently completed new station at Avonmouth, Bristol has achieved a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
