Following on from the success of last year's 'Disco Pig', there is now a new addition to the Stride Treglown stable in the form of 'Holey Cow'!
The sculpture is part of Hall for Cornwall's new public art project, Jack's Cows. Inspired by this year's panto at the Hall, Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack's Cows sees herds of multi-coloured, individually decorated, life-size cow sculptures appearing in unlikely locations all around Truro, Falmouth and the Eden Project. Each cow has been decorated by a Cornish artist and sponsored by local people or businesses.
Stride Treglown's Plymouth and Truro offices designed and adapted the cow themselves, taking inspiration from famous sculptor Barbara Hepworth who lived in Cornwall for many years.
'Holey Cow' can be seen at Tinner's Court, Back Quay in Truro until the end of August after which time the whole herd will be collected up and put on display in a public exhibition at Hall for Cornwall.
Visit the Jack's Cows website for further information.
