Stride Treglown grows a stache of 'taches

Stride Treglown will be bristling with tension over the next four weeks as they battle to grow moustaches to help change the face of men's health for Prostate Cancer.

Movember is about having fun, growing a moustache, and raising much needed funds and awareness for men's health - specifically prostate cancer. What many people don't appreciate is that one man dies every hour of prostate cancer in the UK, more than 35,000 men will be diagnosed this year and that prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK.  Over the next four weeks the male architects will be needing to get a handle(bar) on the challenge to see whether they turn out to be a Tom Selleck type or a Charlie Chaplin lookalike.

Rob Sargent, director of Stride Treglown commented, "This isn't just lip service. When I heard of this campaign I thought I moustache one question....how do we get involved?  It is a great way to sort the men from the boys and to raise awareness for a seriously important campaign.  We're trying not to be competitive about it as we don't want things to get prickly, but I have already brought my wax to roll the ends of my moustache and am following a serious hair growth diet."

The Mo Bros of Stride Treglown will gather for a photo call at the end of Movember. 2009 is Movember's third year in the UK. If you are interested in learning more about the work that is being carried out as a result of Movember funds, check out the details at
