Treglown Court - Our Chairman On The Roof
I was on the roof of Treglown Court in Cardiff this morning, showing some people round. Even though its December tomorrow, we're still generating 6kw of electricity from our photovoltaics.
On top of that, we only need to run the biomass boiler for 4 hours in the morning and it generates enough heat to keep the office warm for the rest of the day.
It really is amazing to compare the quiet, controlled and comfortable atmosphere in the new design studio to the noisy, cramped and difficult to heat / cool office we moved from last year, which is only a couple of hundred metres away. A bit of thoughtful design, some attention to sustainability and you have a transformed and cheap to run office that everyone wants to use.
