Gary Milliner is a Director within our residential team and over the past 22 years, has had a varied career, firstly working in London for Jestico + Whiles on projects such as the residential redevelopment of Burrells Wharf - historic dockyard for Brunel's Great Eastern ship, and the re-development of a late 19th Century building into offices adjacent to Buterfields All Saints Church.

A move to Edinburgh, saw Gary take up a post for a year as the resident architect on a new Inland Revenue office building in Falkirk and after joining RMJM, working on the Civic Award winning, £32m passive designed low energy Scottish Office building in Leith. Gary also led the delivery of RMJM's first Glasgow Office flagship project - the Faculty of Health for Glasgow Caledonian University, designed to promote the new university.

Moving to Bristol in 1997 Gary joined Stride Treglown and designed and delivered Plymouth Mail Centre, winner of Plymouth City's Abercrombie Award 2000. Gary's varied experience at Stride Treglown includes an extensive residential portfolio starting with the redevelopment of the Grade II listed Brentry House in Bristol and has ranged from 21 village houses in Doynton to the redevelopment of Brunel's Great Western Dockyard, home to the ss Great Britain to provide 145 apartments and the Brunel Centre.

This residential work is interwoven with residential and mixed use master planning projects, and leading commercial teams to deliver a number of major Grade A, BREEAM 'Excellent' rated offices in Bristol, including the recently completed Burges Salmon's Headquarters at Temple Quay Central.
