David is the Director in charge of our education team that provides architectural design and associated consultancy services to universities, colleges and schools throughout the UK and further afield. He has over twenty years experience in a wide range of disciplines, including urban, building and interior design and his particular skills include graphic communication.

Throughout his career, David has worked on projects for a range of major clients such as BT, Her Majesty's Court Service and Cardiff Bay Development Corporation. He has also led bids for several BSF projects and oversees ongoing relationships with panel members of the Academies Framework. He is involved in the ongoing bid processes for a number of academies and primary schools in the South West of England, and maintains involvement in the delivery of projects through to completion.

As the director responsible for Stride Treglown's education team, he also takes responsibility for developing and managing relationships with a number of universities throughout the UK including Royal Holloway and Goldsmiths Colleges, University of London, The University of Reading, and The University of the West of England. David not only provides masterplanning experience and expertise in faculty design and refurbishment projects, but also works with a number of colleagues to deliver designs for new build and refurbishment student accommodation projects for both private sector and university clients.

David is also responsible for the company's sustainable design sector. This includes coordinating an in-house 'Green Group' that draws together the expertise of our BREEAM assessors and environmental design specialists and makes sure that their award winning best practice is spread throughout the company.
