Gareth has over thirty years experience. He is an expert in designing and managing major projects including residential developments in Cardiff Bay, Newport and London; mixed used schemes; the project management of university new facility schemes, the design of a number of primary schools in South Wales and the development of office accommodation for IT based start-up companies. Gareth also works closely with a range of public sector clients throughout Wales as well as national developers and heads up an experienced and dedicated team of architects who feel passionately about delivering sustainable and innovative design within Wales and beyond.

Gareth also takes responsibility for the Stride Treglown Healthcare team, undertaking multi-million pound projects including the modernisation of Mental Health Services at Glanrhyd Hospital Bridgend; the completion of a Mother and Baby Unit and Liaison Psychiatry at the University Hospital of Wales and the D&B submission for the new National Children's Hospital for Wales in Cardiff. He was also the team leader for the successfully completed £6m Educational Health Centre in Doha and director in charge of Prince Charles Hospital during construction on site.

As Director with responsibility for our Cardiff office, Gareth has instigated the design and build of our new BREEAM Outstanding rated office Treglown Court, which will complete later in 2010. His knowledge of sustainable design has led to his involvement in achieving BREEAM 'Very Good' or 'Excellent' on many buildings in his control and EcoHomes 'Excellent' or Level 4 and 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
