Bob has been the Chairman of Stride Treglown since 2009 and has over 40 years experience in the construction industry, working for both architects and consulting engineers, focusing on most building types including health, housing, offices, industrial and retail.

He has in recent years also taken responsibility for the delivery of a number of projects for the MOD, Railtrack, the NHS, the Institute for Animal Health and the headquarters for a major provider of financial services in the heart of Bristol. He also has specific expertise in the refurbishment and restoration of historic buildings.

Bob is well known within the local business community, not only as an expert architect and the Chairman of the largest practice in the South West but also as the ex-chair of FBE and through his support of a vast array of associations, forums and community projects in Bristol.

Bob is also the ex-chairman of the Bristol offices regional RIBA committee and the Bristol Junior Chamber.
