This project redeveloped an existing 1970s building comprising two blocks; one of fourteen storeys and one of seven storeys, in the centre of Bristol, to provide 9,750 sqm of office accommodation.
Stride Treglown was tasked with upgrading the thermal performance of the building, the removal of the perimeter fan coil and its replacement with chilled beams. The removal of the existing high level walkway facilitates the creation of a new two storey glazed entrance, exterior overclad and landscaped plaza.
The project also included new plant, the introduction of cyclist facilities and improvement of the building's accessibility.
