This £3.2m scheme for Countryside Properties involved the conversion of the 1802 grade II Listed Brentry House and associated stables, laundry block, kitchen block and Gothic cottage into luxury apartments and houses arranged around a walled garden.

On appointment we reviewed the general extension and retention strategy prepared by previous architects. Our brief was to optimise return and reinforce the unique historic setting of the listed building.

As a result of our reassessment, we were able to provide contemporary studio apartments in the converted kitchen block and convert and extend the existing stable block into houses using sympathetic modern design techniques.
