Located in the Clifton Village conservation area, this £1.1m development for Swan Hill Homes comprises seven three and four-storey townhouses. Two separate self-contained studios to the rear incorporate their own lobbies and showers.

The approach to layout is traditional with the living room at first floor level and terraces located at the upper floors. Exteriors are enhanced with bright coloured renders typical of the area and brises soleils at roof level to provide shading to the large areas of glazing.

The front elevation is articulated by bays created by pairing the living rooms and enhanced by recessing the staircase and entrance lobby areas that are located between.

The roof comprises a series of curved aluminium standing seam bays which slope over the staircase areas. These are set back so that they are less visible from street level. This arrangement helps to articulate this primary frontage and relates naturally to the neighbouring properties.
