Stride Treglown have been working with a joint venture company comprising Salford City Council, Bovis Lend Lease and Inpartnership Ltd to assist in the regeneration of the Higher Broughton area.

Higher Broughton suffers pockets of severe housing market failure yet enjoys some attractive locational benefits on the fringe of leafy suburbia, a short drive from the regional centre. The partnership has been brought together to bring much needed new investment into the area over the next 7-10 years.

The Masterplan aims to reverse population loss and help transform the area into an attractive and sustainable multi-cultural neighbourhood. The aim is to provide better homes and a range of new amenities for local residents. A planned Community Hub includes new learning and library facilities alongside enhanced sports provision. The initiative promotes a radically improved public realm which is well managed, secure and can be enjoyed by all the communities in the area.
