Stride Treglown undertook access audits within Bristol Universities properties which include academic, residential, administrative and other facilities. Our access auditing team were able to provide analysis of their portfolio via written and photographic access reports; attribute potential costs to itemised schedules through in-house Quantity Surveying expertise and utilise a colour coding system to identify the degree of challenge identified by each stage of the access sequence.
We were then able to produce an executive presentation of our findings by establishing a single spreadsheet that captured the relative severity of the issues and capturing additional information such anticipated costs etc.
This enabled Bristol University to establish the relative costs posed by the issues and to identify the priorities for each of their premises and identify strategies that they might employ as part of their statutory duties under the DDA and SENDA legislation.
