Green Park Station was the northern terminus of the Somerset and Dorset Railway and is a fine example of a Victorian Station with overall train shed roof.
Our Building Maintenance team started the project by providing a detailed condition survey of the historic fabric, in particular the varied roofs and gutters, followed by careful repairs to the roofs of this grade II listed building. The work involved associated stone repairs to the elevations and general repair to the timber platforms.
Our commission also involved the preparation of a planned preventative maintenance schedule advising of regular inspection and consequent maintenance and repair in order to prevent further deterioration.
