The BBC Bristol site comprises many listed buildings, mostly Victorian Villas facing Whiteladies Road and Tyndalls Park Avenue, but also several varied mid-late 20th century buildings.
The project commenced with a detailed condition survey of the buildings, in particular the varied roofs and gutters, some behind parapets, followed by careful repairs to the roofs of the listed and unlisted buildings.
The work included repairs to gutters as well as associated stone repairs to the elevations and general repair at high level including roof and lantern lights.
The execution of the project involved particular requirements regarding co-ordination and security in order to maintain the operation of the site at all times.
