Colston Parade is a terrace of four late 19th century town houses previously in use as six flats located in the centre of Bristol to the south of the Parish Church of St Mary Redcliffe. The houses are Grade II listed.
The project centred on converting the 6 flats back to 4 town houses by reinstating the party walls and room layouts generally as originally constructed. The works included plaster repairs, decorations, roof repairs and introduction of rooflights with associated leadwork, repairs to existing windows and doors, and new services throughout.
The refurbishment included the re-introduction of steel railings and rubble stone walling as well as cleaning and essential repairs to the stone faced front (north) elevation. Internally new contemporary kitchens and family and en-suite bathrooms were introduced. To the rear, re-surfacing of the rear yard and the construction of a cycle store for communal use were included.
