This new highly sustainable office development acts as a gateway building on a site to the edge of Yate sloping down to the River Frome.

Stride Treglown Interiors have worked closely with our architectural team from the building's inception to develop this scheme for South Gloucestershire Council. Working initially on the common parts of the building, we developed an innovative arrangement to provide touchdown points within the buildings atrium, ensuring that best use was made of the space; rather than becoming an empty space in the middle of the building, it will be a hive of activity at the heart of the office. Careful consideration has been given to reception areas, to ensure they meet the council's requirements for public spaces in terms of accessibility and security.

We have undertaken an extensive exercise with the client to space plan the building's office areas, working with them to create the correct adjacencies, accommodate all the disparate requirements of the various teams who will be located within the building and to maximise the utilisation of the building and help the client gain best value for money. We have also assisted in the furniture procurement process, with the client tendering the supply of 700 workstations to a number of suppliers.
