Following a successful fit-out of Ernst & Young’s new Bristol offices, Stride Treglown Interiors have become EY’s interiors consultant of choice in the UK, and we are currently working on three further schemes around the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The Bristol project was a 2000sqm fit-out of one and a half floors of a building of which Stride Treglown were architects and Hoare Lea were the M&E Consultants. We teamed up with Hoare Lea again for this important fit-out.
Being the first fit-out to build upon brand guidelines for internal spaces, prepared by Landor, the Bristol office has become a prototype for other schemes in the UK.
Stride Treglown and Hoare Lea provided a full service, working under traditional procurement route, and were involved in the specification of everything from furniture to the bespoke photographic vinyl manifestation.
The overall quality of the scheme is high, particularly for the client areas, however office areas have not been skimped upon with Herman Miller furniture and dedicated study booths for private ‘phone conversations.
All of the projects, involve a strong directive from the client to create a local relevance and involve staff in the scheme - as such we present the schemes to key business groups to gain feedback and also run a furniture selection session where a business user group is able to state their preferences for loose furniture items.
In Bristol, to provide local relevance, various quotes from famous local people and local slang were placed on the walls in touch down locations, while the meeting rooms have local photography printed onto etched manifestation film.
Beyond the current schemes in Glasgow and Dublin, other projects in Newcastle, Cambridge and Edinburgh are also on the drawing board, and we continue to build our strong relationship with EY.
