Stride Treglown's Landscape team have designed the Jennets Park Neighbourhood Square, due to be complete in 2011.

The neighbourhood square provides significant piece of public realm with a strong sense of arrival forming the centrepiece of the Jennett’s Park development. It will be surrounded by residential, retail and community uses, including the primary school, the new community centre and the future doctors’ surgery development, as set out within the approved Design Statement and Masterplan (2005).

The design and layout of the Square has been developed to reflect the aspirations of the Masterplan. This incorporates a pedestrian priority environment with a distinct sense of place providing the local community with a vibrant, high quality ‘Market Square’ at the heart of the neighbourhood. The choice of materials, the use of feature paving and considered locations for trees helps create a quality space for all ages to enjoy.
