The Public Realm design for Cardiff Capital Square aims to provide a “World Class” destination and a gateway to Wales. Through a comprehensive consultation process with Cardiff Council, Cardiff’s Access and Inclusion forum and local interest groups, the resulting proposals are set to become exemplar in access and inclusive design.
This comprehensive package of public realm improvements will attract investment and new facilities which will positively contribute to the energy and character of Capital Square. These improvements will help establish a sense of pride, public ownership and a level of self policing essential to make this a safe and thriving 24 hour destination.
More information about the project can be found in the Redeveloped Cardiff bus station to take inspiration from Wales' industrial heritage article on the WalesOnline.co.uk website
