Millshaw Court is a three storey office complex of 7360 sq.m, housing 1,100 staff with ancillary private offices, meeting rooms, informal break out spaces, IT touchdown facilities for visitors and visiting staff, reception, main restaurant, vending areas, restrooms and circulation areas throughout the building.

Stride Treglown Management Ltd delivered the complete refurbished of the site over a 16 month phased programme, while the site remained fully operational. Stride Treglown Ltd architectural services are also under a framework with Barclays where we continue to develop our excellent relationship with this blue chip client.

Establishing an acceptable phasing scheme was a significant early challenge to overcome, and was key to the project's success and further workload for similar projects. This was accomplished by the project manager's critical survey of business occupancy levels, when every available free or under-utilised work station was identified and ownership defined, including future requirements, in order to create a refurbished 'swing' space which was used to house the business teams temporarily, before final migration into their new areas, refurbished to Barclays' corporate workplace standards.
