Barclays House is a landmark building in Poole's town centre, rising to eight storeys in three large conjoined towers, looking very much a modern equivalent of an historic fortification. Stride Treglown Management Ltd provided project management services as part of our own going framework arrangement with Barclays together with architectural support which was delivered by Stride Treglown.
This scheme combined essential engineering service and core building works with the removal of asbestos products from open plan office space, housing 3,300 workstations and will provide a light touch corporate facelift of internal spaces, efficient engineering services and new external signage.
Passenger lifts are being upgraded to provide new controllers, finishes and DDA compliancy, while new coolers, pumps and hot water service upgrades will bring the environmental services right up to date.
