Stride Treglown has designed new build and refurbishment offices for the MoD, both as stand-alone projects and part of whole camp refurbishments.
New Build Offices
Our architectural team is currently completing a new HQ office facility for 600 Defence Equipment and Support Staff. The three storey, 9300sqm building is designed with sustainability at the core with the view to achieving a DREAM 'Excellent' rating.
Features include; active Brise Soleil with tracking, rainwater harvesting, ground source heat pump and large concrete thermal mass to regulate temperature and the building has already won several awards for Sustainability and Design Innovation.
Refurbished Offices
The conversion of a variety of existing MoD buildings to office accommodation, often coupled with workshops, libraries, preservation and storage facilities. In all instances there has been a strong drive for accessibility of new layout and sustainability, achieving DREAM 'Very Good or 'Excellent'.
