Stride Treglown designed this 1850 sqm building, which contains nine University departments, providing a consolidated non-academic support to the students.
The facilities include: two presentation rooms; counter services for Student Services; accommodation office; finance; disability office; careers advisors with their own library and Centre for Career Management Skills; counselling; international student support; Centre for Development and Learning and study advisors.
The design process involved working with all the different user groups to ensure the brief met all requirements and the building has been designed to be naturally ventilated and is heated and cooled by renewable energy through a ground source heat pump.
